Lewes Station to Amberley Station via great routes over the stunning South Downs… 60 RGS students undertook their Silver qualifying expedition. Breezy conditions but mostly dry and mild. They were an especially good bunch of students who were all spirited and very cheerful throughout. Staff were pleased with their performance, well done all.
60 5th Year dofe silver students enjoyed a team building day at Tilgate Park as part of their training for the forthcoming silver expedition next weekend.
They undertook raft building, mountain biking and canoeing and lots of fun was had by all!
Over 130 students embarked on their Bronze dofe expeditions 10-11 October. They walked and cycled and canoed to various campsites, scout camps and farms around the North Downs, Medway and New Forest areas. The weather was showery and there were thunderstorms overnight that woke many up. This was the largest number of students ever fielded in one expedition by RGS.
